The Alpha Iota Chapter of Sigma Pi at Missouri S&T is proud to give back to its campus and local communities. Through its annual ACE (altruistic campus experience) Week, a week of philanthropic activities that began Sunday, April 7, fraternity members completed five acts of community service.
To begin, Sigma Pi hosted a barbecue at Schuman Park to thank first responders. Along Highway BB, the chapter’s sponsored highway, members cleaned up trash and debris. Sigma Pi members also spent a day at Oak Pointe Senior Living, visiting and playing games, like bingo. To show appreciation for the contributions made by Missouri S&T’s faculty and staff, members organized a special breakfast delivery. Additionally, members hosted Pancakes with Pi’s, an event where they made pancakes for all attendees.
