To correct the damage caused by the electrical switch fire that occurred outside Toomey Hall on Tuesday, Oct. 31, a power outage is planned for Wednesday, June 19. This is when there will be fewer people on campus as Missouri S&T observes Juneteenth as a university holiday. The outage is expected to last through the morning for all buildings except Toomey Hall. Toomey Hall will likely be without power all day. However, crews will work to restore power sooner, if possible.
The power outage will begin at 7 a.m. and the following buildings will be affected:
Please do not occupy the buildings during the power outage due to the impact on life-saving systems in the buildings. If you see power restored to one of the buildings, please wait for an all-clear announcement.
