Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system improvements are scheduled for construction in Toomey Hall over the next nine weeks, beginning Monday, May 13, extending through Friday, July 12. This work will impact the air conditioning throughout the building.
The building will have no heating during the nine weeks and building occupants will not be able to adjust temperatures via thermostats. Cold air will blow through approximately two-thirds of the building’s registers at any given time, while approximately one-third of the building will not have any air circulation. The weather outside will affect the temperature of the air circulating in the building. Room temperatures will vary from cool to warm during the duration of the improvements.
