Power outages planned May 15-16

To conduct preventative maintenance on transformers that power S&T buildings, two power outages are scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16.

Wednesday, May 15

The following buildings will have a brief power outage 6:30-6:45 a.m.:

  • Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall
  • Emerson Hall
  • Fulton Hall
  • Interdisciplinary Engineering Building
  • Norwood Hall
  • Parker Hall
  • Physics Building
  • Missouri S&T Nuclear Reactor

The following buildings will have longer power outages. The estimated duration of each outage is listed with the following buildings:

  • Compressible Flow Laboratory: 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Dangerous Materials Storage Facility: 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Emerson Hall: 12:30-4 p.m.
  • Fulton Hall: 12:30-4 p.m. 
  • Physics Building: 3:30-7 p.m.
  • Missouri S&T Nuclear Reactor: 3:30-7 p.m.
  • Straumanis-James Hall: 6:30-10 a.m.
  • Temporary Research Facility9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. 

Thursday, May 16

The following buildings will have power outages on Thursday, May 16. The estimated duration of each outage is listed with the following buildings:

  • Curtis Laws Wilson Library: 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Humanities and Social Sciences Building: 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Harris Hall: 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Interdisciplinary Engineering Building: 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Norwood Hall: 3:30-7 p.m.
  • Parker Hall: 12:30-4 p.m.
  • Toomey Hall: 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
