Nuclear Engineering Students Awarded National Scholarships

Three Missouri S&T students have clinched national recognition in nuclear engineering and radiation science. For the 2024-2025 school year, the American Nuclear Society has awarded scholarships to Mason Darling, Landon Viers, and Drew Barringhaus on a national level. Mason Darling received the ANS Incoming Freshman Scholarship, Landon Viers the John R. Lamarsh Memorial Scholarship, and Drew Barringhaus was awarded the Operations & Power Division Scholarship. Evaluation is based upon numerous factors such as academic excellence, leadership within the ANS, references, career goals, and financial need. Their achievements highlight the department’s commitment to fostering talent and excellence!
