Bohner, Wang named best scientists in mathematics

Drs. Martin Bohner and Xiaoming Wang in S&T’s mathematics and statistics department have been recognized as the Best Scientists in the field of Mathematics for 2024 by Research.com. Bohner, Curators’ Distinguished Professor, is ranked 416th globally and 225th in the U.S., with a D-index of 61. Wang, the Gary Havener Endowed Department Chair of Mathematics, is ranked 1,821st globally, with a D-index of 40. These rankings are based on the D-index (Discipline H-index) metric, which considers only papers and citation values within the examined discipline.
