Simran Bhatia, senior organizational health education specialist, has been honored with two appointments, reflecting her dedication to elevating student success and well-being within higher education.
Bhatia has joined the Inside Higher Ed Student Success Advisory Board, which includes experts from 15 institutions, including colleges, universities and the Los Alamos National Laboratory. She will help develop initiatives that foster academic achievement, wellness and career preparedness for students nationwide.
“I am thrilled to work alongside fellow board members to craft innovative educational strategies that address the evolving needs of students,” Simran says. “It is a privilege to bring visibility to Missouri S&T at this national platform, highlighting our commitment to student success.”
Additionally, Bhatia’s election as vice president of the Central College Health Association (CCHA), affiliated with the American College Health Association, positions her to make a positive impact across the states of Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas. She will help plan the annual meeting and lead strategic initiatives in member engagement. Bhatia will also oversee the annual review of all organizational policies to ensure they align with CCHA’s mission of supporting advocacy and professional development.
Bhatia earned a master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology from Missouri S&T in 2022.
