S&T jazz ensemble and student-led music ensembles perform this week

The arts, languages and philosophy department will present its spring jazz ensemble concert and a student-led music ensemble showcase this week.
The jazz ensemble concert, directed by Dr. Kyle Wernke, will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, April 5, in Leach Theatre. The student-led jazz combo will perform pre-concert music starting at 6:30 p.m.
The student-led music ensemble showcase will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7, also in Leach Theatre. The ensembles featured in the concert include the saxophone choir, jazz combo, movie music ensemble, video game music ensemble, woodwind choir, trumpet choir and percussion ensemble.
