Latesha Zach

Latesha Zach is the CEC fiscal manager. She has worked at S&T for 12 years.

What do you most enjoy about working at Missouri S&T?
The people. I’ve been lucky enough to meet some amazing people who I would have never met otherwise.

What is your proudest accomplishment while working here?
Co-leading the establishment of the CEC Service Centers with Ashley Newton was a huge accomplishment for me. There were times when I wondered if we’d ever meet our goal, but we reached the finish line and are continuing to grow and adapt each of the centers to better assist the departments we serve.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a new CEC staff member?
Find and establish your network on campus. Everyone has questions from time to time, and knowing the content experts will save you time in the long run.

What advice would you have for a struggling student?
Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself. You will always be your own biggest advocate.

What is something people may be surprised to learn about you?
I have an artistic side. I’ve recently taken up painting, and I have a chalkboard wall at home where I enjoy making chalk art.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Flying. I think the ability to fly would be the ultimate feeling of freedom.
