What does a business support specialist do? I handle the daily administrative tasks for the student health clinic.

What do you enjoy most about your work? I enjoy getting out on campus and spreading awareness about what the clinic offers. Most students don’t realize that we offer so many services for little to no cost.

What is one thing on your bucket list? My number one bucket list item is swimming with sharks.

What do you do for fun? My family and I love to travel. We’re always planning our next camping adventure.

What is something that others may not know about you? A lot of people don’t know that I was in the United States Marine Corps. It wasn’t a long journey but it’s something I’m really proud of.

What is your favorite place on campus? My favorite place on campus is the Havener Center. I like doing events there and seeing the students relax and enjoy their downtime.

What would you describe as the most important personal attributes or strengths that you bring to your work? I think I’m a dependable employee and coworker. I never want someone to have to worry about me showing up or being a team player.

What is the best advice you have ever received? The best advice I’ve ever received was “Don’t be scared to start or try something new because the time will pass either way and then you’ll be sorry you waited”.
