Dr. Joy Lisi Rankin will be the keynote speaker at the Center for Science, Technology and Society’s conference, “Artificial Intelligence and You: The Social and Human Dimensions of AI.” Rankin is a research associate professor in technology, culture and society and a senior research scientist at the Center for Responsible AI at New York University. Her talk, titled “Knitting, Not Chess: Different Pasts and Futures for AI,” is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in the Innovation Forum of the Innovation Lab.
