Krolikowski’s work garners international coverage

Dr. Alanna Krolikowski, assistant professor of political science, and her coauthor, Dr. Martin Elvis, from the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, published an article in the British Royal Society journal, Philosophical Transactions A. The paper identifies the urgent need for international governance and policy efforts to protect sites of exceptional scientific importance on the Moon before a flurry of missions threatens to degrade them. The paper’s findings received international news media coverage, including in the United Kingdom’s The Guardian and the March 25 episode of As it Happens, an international radio program of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
