Dr. Louis Biolsi Jr., professor emeritus of chemistry, died Wednesday, April 17, at age 83. Biolsi joined the faculty at Missouri S&T in 1968, where he taught and conducted research for more than 30 years. In the mid-1970s he also served as a summer fellow for NASA. Although he retired in 2000, Biolsi continued to conduct research and present his work at academic conferences as an emeritus professor.
