Is there an outstanding Missouri S&T staff member you would like to recognize? How about a faculty member who is engaged in supporting staff across campus? Or a new staff member who deserves recognition? Staff Council is now accepting nominations for Staff Excellence Awards, the Outstanding Newcomer Award and the Outstanding Faculty Award. 

The Staff Excellence Awards have three categories: 

• Bridge builder – A person who works to link two groups of individuals together for the common good. 
• Student-centric – A person who is focused on the student’s perspective and helping students in any way they can. 
• Excellence in work – A person who always goes above and beyond for their department or the university. This person has exceptional skills and knowledge in their job and is always professional, respectful and kind. 

The Outstanding Newcomer Award recognizes a staff member who is new to campus and making a positive impact. 

The Outstanding Faculty Award recognizes a faculty member who is engaged in supporting staff across campus. 

Any staff member, faculty member or student can submit nominations, except current members of the Staff Excellence Awards Committee. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, April 12.
