Join us this May as we celebrate the 150th anniversary of our first graduating class and extend congratulations to this semester’s graduating students. 

We invite you to be an integral part of this historic occasion by volunteering as a commencement ambassador. This year, Missouri S&T will host three commencement ceremonies: 

• Ph.D. candidates will be honored at a ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday, May 10, in Gibson Arena in the Gale Bullman Building. 
• Bachelor’s and master’s degree candidates will be recognized at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, May 11, during two ceremonies at Gibson Arena (split by discipline). 

As a commencement ambassador, you will play a vital role. Responsibilities will include assisting guests to their seats, answering questions, guiding graduates, and contributing overall to a positive atmosphere for the families and friends of graduates. 

In appreciation of your dedication, commencement ambassadors will receive exclusive S&T swag, an invitation to a thank-you luncheon, and the chance to enter a drawing for additional gifts. 

If you are interested in helping, fill out the form by Thursday, April 4. Volunteers will be contacted with more details following this deadline. If you are an exempt employee and your supervisor allows, you can use flex time that week.
