Celebrate the Nowruz March 8

Join the Iranian Student Association for Nowruz, a holiday commemorating the start of the Persian New Year as well as the beginning of spring. This holiday is celebrated around the globe, including celebrations in Iran, Afghanistan, and much of Central and West Asia. S&T’s Nowruz celebration will be from 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, March 8, in the St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center.
At the event, you can enjoy a Persian dinner, dance and play games. Tickets for students and their families cost $10 per person and tickets for faculty, staff and their guests cost $20 per person. Children ages 10 and younger get free admission.
