Back up your data

Missouri S&T’s information technology team encourages faculty and staff to regularly back up their data using one of the storage locations available. Two options approved and recommended by IT are OneDrive and encrypted external USB drives. Both options meet the requirements of all data classification levels. By using OneDrive, your data is stored in the cloud and can be easily accessed across multiple machines. An encrypted external drive offers similar data security without synchronization to a cloud service.
