Excitement is building at Missouri S&T as the Satellite Research Team (M-SAT) prepares for an occasion that is – literally – out of this world. The team will soon launch its first satellite into orbit, a significant milestone for the team and university.
The details of the launch are not available yet, but you can save the date for early next week for an event that is bound to be memorable. M-SAT will host a launch party for students, faculty, staff and space enthusiasts. Free pizza and drinks will be provided to the first 100 attendees.
Keep an eye on your inbox for the official invitation, which will be sent out once S&T receives clearance from SpaceX, expected about 48 hours before the event. Come be a part of history, support the M-SAT team, and celebrate a significant achievement in space exploration and research.
