Researchers publish article on AI,transplant decision making

Dr. Casey Canfield, assistant professor of engineering management and systems engineering, Dr. Daniel Shank, associate professor of psychological science, and Harishankar Subramanian, a doctoral student in engineering management, recently published an article in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. The article is titled “Designing explainable AI to improve human-AI team performance: A medical stakeholder-driven scoping review”. This article is part of a National Science Foundation funded project to develop AI decision support for kidney transplant health care.
