Dr. Kathryn Northcut, professor of English, presented a paper at the International Academic Forum Conference on Arts and Humanities on Saturday, Jan. 6, in Honolulu. Her paper is titled “Alice in Oz: Case Study of a High-Tech Work Environment in the U.S.” The four-day conference attracted over 600 individuals from more than 40 countries.
Northcut will present more information about high-tech workplaces at the monthly meeting of the Center for Science, Technology, and Society at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12. Northcut received support from S&T to present this work through a grant from research and innovation’s Seed Funding for Arts, Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences Research program.
