El-Adaway named distinguished alumnus at Iowa State

The Department of Civil Construction and Environmental Engineering at Iowa State University selected Dr. Islam El-adaway for its Distinguished Alumni award. El-adaway is the Hurst-McCarthy Professor of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering and associate dean of academic partnerships for the College of Engineering and Computing. The award honors alumni with significant industry impact through professional achievement and service.
El-adaway, who holds a Ph.D. in civil engineering from Iowa State University, will be honored at the Construction Engineering Awards Banquet Friday, April 19.
