Celebrate the Chinese New Year tomorrow

Join strategic diversity initiatives to celebrate the Chinese New Year at noon on Friday, Feb. 9, in the Meramec-Gasconade Room of the Havener Center. This event is an opportunity to learn more about Chinese culture and traditions and to celebrate the start of the Year of the Dragon.
Desiree Lim, an academic advisor at S&T, will share her insights and knowledge about the significance of the Chinese New Year, and how it is celebrated in different parts of the world.
The event will feature activities including traditional Chinese music, dance performances and food tastings. All members of the Missouri S&T community are invited and are encouraged to bring a friend.
