Amy Gillman

Amy Gillman directs activities related to S&T’s academic partnerships in the Middle East with Gulf University for Science and Technology. She has worked for S&T for 18.5 years.

What do you most enjoy about working at Missouri S&T?
The fun and interesting projects I get to be part of. I love helping to develop and implement new programs and initiatives at S&T. I also enjoy working with faculty. I’ve met so many interesting people over the years, and I have learned a lot from each of them.

What is your proudest accomplishment while working here?
I am proud of many accomplishments at S&T; however, my proudest accomplishment is successfully raising my family while working professionally.

What advice would you have for a struggling student?
Don’t be afraid to ask for and accept help. Everyone here cares about your success!

What is something people may be surprised to learn about you?
I was my high school mascot and wore a blue jay suit to all the home games.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Teleportation, so I could go to Paris every morning for coffee and still get to work on time.
