Dr. Sharrona Pearl, associate teaching professor of health administration at Drexel University, will present “Recognizers to the Rescue” at 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, in Room 140 Toomey Hall. Pearl’s talk will discuss the history of face recognition research, focusing on how super recognizers are used in criminal detection and what that means for privacy, surveillance, and face recognition technology in the U.S. today. The event is offered by S&T’s history and political science department.
