Bhatia organizes college health conference section

Simran Bhatia, senior organizational health education specialist for student well-being, serves as the program planner-elect for the Mental Health Section of the American College Health Association (ACHA). Appointed in May 2023, Bhatia has played an active role in shaping the upcoming ACHA 2024 conference.
In November, Bhatia, alongside peers from universities nationwide, crafted a conference schedule at a program planner and leadership meeting in Atlanta. The team’s collaborative efforts focused on mental health, policy adherence, and diversity, equity, and inclusion prospects for ACHA 2024.
The conference will take place Tuesday, May 28, through Saturday, June 1, in Atlanta. The conference will feature more than 150 live sessions and workshops, 50 poster presentations and 250 speakers.
