Patricia Lungstrum is a finance and accounting specialist for mechanical and aerospace engineering and chemical and biochemical engineering. She has worked at Missouri S&T for the past four months.

What do you most enjoy about working at Missouri S&T?
Being able to provide support to faculty, staff and students.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a new CEC staff member?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Taking the offered training classes can be very helpful and enhance your skills at work.

What advice would you have for a struggling student?
The staff really care about you and want to do what we can to help you succeed. Please don’t be afraid to reach out.

What is something people may be surprised to learn about you?
I enjoy crafting, painting, drawing and other creative activities — especially when I get to do them with my family.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
If I could have a superpower, I would choose to be able to teleport so I could frequently visit friends and family who aren’t close by.
