Oerther re-elected treasurer of Engineers Without Borders

Dr. Daniel B. Oerther, professor of environmental health engineering, has been elected to a second term as treasurer of Engineers Without Borders USA. Oerther will continue his position starting in January.
As treasurer, Oerther oversees all financial affairs of EWB-USA, including approximately $6 million in revenue and expenditures, management of approximately $3 million in investments, and the finances of multiple offices overseas.
Oerther joined EWB-USA in 2005 and he was elected to the Board of Directors in 2021. At the board meeting in November, he was re-appointed to a three-year term as director.
