Help S&T Staff Council make this holiday season bright for families in the Rolla community by donating toys and food. Collection boxes will be available in buildings throughout campus, and donations will be collected Thursday, Dec. 7.

Staff Council will award a traveling trophy to the S&T department or office with the most items collected, as well as to the department with the best-designed collection container. If your office is a drop off location or if you plan to participate in the collection box decorating contest, let Staff Council know by emailing Kim Baker, advancement associate for advancement records, at kimberly.baker@mst.edu.

Food items most needed include:

• Barbecue sauce, mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard.
• Canned beans (pork and beans, black, pinto and others).
• Canned fruits.
• Canned meats (tuna, sausages, SPAM and chicken).
• Canned ravioli and spaghetti.
• Canned soups.
• Dry beans and rice.
• Packaged pasta meals.
• Pasta sauce and noodles.
• Toaster pastries.
