Missouri S&T will host the spring 2024 UM Advise, the University of Missouri System advising summit, on Thursday, Feb. 29. Registration is open for this one-day event that will provide an opportunity for colleagues to share knowledge and reflect on advising practices.  

The summit will focus on harnessing the knowledge advisors have of the universities’ curricula and services to assist students in solving the problems of today and navigating their paths for the future, contributing to helping students ‘solve for tomorrow.’ Attendees will discuss holistic student development, personalized guidance and future-centric approaches as advisors. A detailed agenda will be provided after registration has closed.  

Check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the program kicking off at 10 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. Register online by 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024.  

As part of the summit, you are invited to present during a breakout session or share a poster about a promising practice, research or professional development topic. Selected session and poster presenters will be notified early 2024.  

Submit your proposal online by 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6.
