Remington R. Williams Awards
Applications are due to the UM System Office of Academic Affairs by January 26, 2024.
The University of Missouri Board of Curators requests nominations for the Williams Awards. These awards are the highest non-academic award bestowed on students by the Board of Curators and are given in memory of Mr. Williams and his outstanding service as Student Representative to the Board (2020-2022). Six (6) recipients will be selected annually. Each will receive a leadership medallion to wear at graduation, a $1,000 award, and an invitation to be recognized at a board meeting hosted at their institution.
Any student, faculty, or staff member may nominate a qualified individual. Nominees must meet minimum criteria and be an exceptional student leader who has made a positive impact on the university, inspired the growth and development of their peers, advocated for the college experience, and exhibited outstanding character and collaborative spirit at all times.
More information, including eligibility criteria and nomination materials, can be found on the UM System Academic Affairs website or you may click here to submit an application.
