Iowa State asphalt expert to present MAPA lecture Nov. 16

Dr. Chris Williams will present the civil, architectural and environmental engineering department’s Missouri Asphalt Pavement Association (MAPA) Distinguished Lecture at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, in Room 120 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall and via Zoom.
Williams is the Gerald and Audrey Olson Professor of Civil Engineering at Iowa State University. He focuses on research in asphalt materials, biomaterials and sustainability. His lecture is titled “Biomaterials: An opportunity for more sustainable asphalt pavement systems.”
