  • Dr. Amy Belfi was interviewed by The New York Times reporter for an article on music therapy. Belfi is an associate professor in psychological science.
  • NPR’s Ayesha Rascoe interviewed Dr. Mehrzad Boroujerdi about the relationship between Israel and Iran for the Weekend Edition broadcast Oct. 15. Boroujerdi is the vice provost and dean of the College of Arts, Science, and Education.
  • Tory Verkamp was highlighted in The Chronicle of Higher Education for her permanent appointment as vice chancellor for university advancement.
  • Dr. Sharon Uwanyuze was highlighted in the article, “Five black scholars who are taking on new assignments at universities,” in The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education. Uwanyuze is an assistant teaching professor of materials science and engineering.
  • Dr. Robin Verble’s research on dispatcher well-being appeared in an article by High Country News and other publications. Verble is director of the Ozark Research Field Station and an associate professor of biological sciences.
  • Dr. Baojun Bai was recognized in Norway News for receiving the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ Distinguished Achievement Award for Petroleum Engineering Faculty. Bai is the Lester R. Birbeck Endowed Professor of Petroleum Engineering.
