Three named Curators’ Distinguished Professors

During the Sept. 7 University of Missouri System Board of Curators meeting, three faculty members were recognized as Curators’ Distinguished professors. The professors are:
- Dr. Baojun Bai, Missouri S&T’s Lester Birbeck Endowed Chair of petroleum engineering, has been named a Curators’ Distinguished Professor.
- Dr. Jagannathan Sarangapani, Missouri S&T’s William A. Rutledge-Emerson Electric Co. Distinguished Professor in electrical and computer engineering, has been named a Curators’ Distinguished Professor.
- Dr. Irina Ivliyeva, interim chair of arts, languages and philosophy and professor of Russian at Missouri S&T, has been named a Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor.
