Planning for UM System’s Staff Development Week is underway, and S&T’s Staff Success Center invites you to get involved.

Staff Development Week will be Nov. 6-9. This is a time for staff across the UM System to come together, celebrate the work happening within the organization, and take time for professional and personal development.

Do you or a colleague have a session to present during Staff Development Week? If so, submit a session proposal online.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, Oct. 11. Most sessions will be held via Zoom and you will be consulted on your preferred presentation format.

Not sure what to present? Here are the primary focus areas for Staff Development Week presentations:

• Professional development: Sessions regarding professional skills, with a goal of keeping participants up to date on current trends, building awareness of resources within the organization or developing professional capacity.
• Personal development: Sessions that promote and support personal wellbeing inside and outside of work.
