Missouri S&T theater students to premiere new musical

Students from Missouri S&T’s arts, languages, and philosophy department will premiere “Cascade’s Fire,” a new musical written by S&T faculty.
The book and lyrics for the musical are written by Taylor Gruenloh, assistant professor of theater, with music by Dr. Kyle Wernke, assistant professor of music.
Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, Friday, Oct. 13, and Saturday, Oct.14, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Oct. 15. Performances will also be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, Friday, Oct. 20, and Saturday, Oct. 21. All performances will be held in the Black Box Theatre, located in Room 143 Castleman Hall.
