  • Dr. Richard Billo, director for the Center of Advanced Manufacturing, spoke on a Missouri Net radio broadcast about 3D printing in manufacturing.
  • The Phelps County Focus highlighted Dr. Greg Gelles, professor emeritus of economics, for his philanthropy to Celebration of Nations on Sept. 23.
  • Plant Engineering  featured S&T alumnus Zach Sample as a “2023 Engineering Leader Under 40.” Sample, 33, is a global digital enterprise consultant for Emerson in Round Rock, Texas.
  • Featured in Informed Infrastructure, the American Society of Civil Engineers selected Hannah Butkovich, a junior in civil engineering at Missouri S&T, as a national student ambassador.
  • Dr. Kamal Khayat, vice chancellor for research and innovation at S&T, was featured in the August issue of Ingram’s among the magazine’s list of “50 Missourians You Should Know.” The list includes high-powered business executives, high-achieving non-profit leaders and high-level thinkers.
  • Dr. Kathleen Sheppard, professor of history at Missouri S&T, gave a presentation titled “Up the Nile: A Thousand Ways to Go A Thousand Miles” to the Egypt Exploration Society on Sept. 5.
