Alumnus publishes in Renewable Energy

Eric Hanson published research from his master’s thesis on renewable procurement options in the U.S. The Renewable Energy paper is the result of collaborative work with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
Hanson earned a master’s degree in systems engineering from Missouri S&T in 2021. He co-authored the paper with his research advisor, Dr. Casey Canfield, assistant professor of engineering management and systems engineering, and Dr. Mahelet Fikru, associate professor of economics.
