Miner Mingle, group of students.

Photo Tom Wagner/Missouri S&T: Miner Mingle is the first campus-wide networking event designed to allow employers to approach students instead of the other way around. Hundreds of employer representatives will be on campus the night before the career fair.

Calling all student organizations if you would like for your organization to have a booth at an event where hundreds of employer representatives will be present, similar to MinerRama’s event. Sign your organization up for Miner Mingle from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 25, located at the Puck and Toomey Lawn.

This is a reverse career fair where companies get to learn about all of the organizations on campus and meet all of the people in the organizations as well. All students, faculty, and staff are invited, but we would love for your group to have a booth to show off! This is a no-resume, no-professional dress event.

Register as soon as possible by clicking on the link provided. Space is limited and is being offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.

More Info:

  • Student organizations will be set up among the faculty departments, allowing for employers to learn about student organizations and target particular groups of students for networking and employment opportunities. This is not only a great way to brand yourself to employers for networking, financial support, and employment opportunities, but it is also a tool to market your student org to other students who will be attending the event.
  • This event is open to ALL students and faculty. Students will be encouraged to hang around the tables with which they identify (student academic organizations, student diversity organizations, design teams, and academic departments).
  • Set-up starts at 4:00 p.m.
  • Dress: We encourage org polos and t-shirts.

Register as soon as possible so that we can make sure to arrange the appropriate number of tables.
