The S&T Wind Symphony will perform its first concert of the semester at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, in Leach Theatre.
The program includes Yukiko Nishimura’s “Northern Lights,” followed by John Tatgenhorst’s “Chanson for Band,” William Grant Still’s “Folk Suite for Band,” John Philip Sousa’s “The Black Horse Troop,” “Soundtrack Highlights from ‘Les Miserables’” arranged by Jay Bocook, and “Chase the Shouting Wind” by Vince Gassi.
Tickets are $5 for the public and free to youth, ages 18 and under, and Missouri S&T students with a valid ID.
Tickets can be purchased 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday from the Leach Theatre Box Office, located inside the main entrance to Castleman Hall, facing 10th Street. Tickets can also be purchased at the door starting an hour before the event, online at leachtheatre.mst.edu, or by calling 573-341-4219. Service fees may apply to tickets purchased online.
