Updates for the S&T community
The Clery Act designates members of the S&T community as campus security authorities (CSAs).
CSAs include, but are not limited to:
When CSAs become aware of a crime that occurred on or around campus, they have an obligation under federal law to report the information to the University Police, Title IX or the Clery and compliance specialist. CSAs play a key role in ensuring the safety of the Missouri S&T community. This is an important job and training will help ensure that crimes are properly reported.
Individuals who have been identified as a CSA will receive an email with an invitation to participate in the course. Follow the link or log in to Canvas to complete the course by Tuesday, Oct. 31.
