Spot the Robodog at 2022 National STEM Day.

Dustin Peterson, a senior in mining engineering, demonstrates Missouri S&T’s Spot the Robodog for students at the 2022 National STEM Day event.

The Kummer Center for STEM Education brings roughly 1,000 middle and high school students to S&T for National STEM Day, Wednesday, Nov. 8. The center’s mission is to ignite the STEM spark in these students and show them what a future as a STEM professional could mean for them. To do this, it takes support of all the departments on campus.

The center seeks exciting workshops, demonstrations, tours and more that these students can attend to get them excited about STEM.

The center also seeks volunteers to help the day go smoothly. Sign up to help us excite these future Miners.

Sign up online by Sunday, Oct. 8, to offer an activity or volunteer for National STEM Day.
