Rezaei receives NSF grant to study the removal of carbon dioxide

Dr. Fateme Rezaei, the Linda and Bipin Doshi Professor of Chemical Engineering, has been awarded a $340,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to work on the removal of carbon dioxide directly from the atmosphere. In this three-year project, her team will investigate heat and mass transfer mechanisms in smart sorbent materials.
