Faculty participate at PULSE conference

Dr. David Duvernell, professor and chair of biological sciences, Dr. Andrea Scharf, assistant professor of biological sciences, and Dr. Dave Westenberg, Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor of biological sciences, participated in the Partnership for Undergraduate Life Sciences Education (PULSE) 2023 Midwest and Great Plains Network Conference at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
During the conference, teams worked together to construct an action plan to make changes to their department that will enhance diversity, equity and inclusion. Participants learned about strategies for discussions on change, resources within PULSE and how to develop action plans to enhance programs.
