The campus community is invited to a poetry reading and open mic night at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, in the loft of Public House Brewing Co. in Rolla. The event will feature Dr. Jossalyn Gale, assistant professor of English and director of the Foundational Speech and Composition program at Missouri S&T. Bring your own poems to share.

Gale’s creative energy manifests in poetry, art, music and theatre. She has taught at S&T since 2011, but she, her two dogs, one cat and five fish are new residents of Rolla. She says that moving to Rolla feels like coming home.
