Celebrate Carol Lay’s retirement Friday

After 20 years of service, Carol Lay, office support assistant in electrical and computer engineering (ECE), will retire in August. In her time here, she worked almost four years for procurement and later accepted a position with ECE. Please join her to celebrate at a drop-in retirement reception 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, in the first-floor lobby of Emerson Electric Co. Hall.
Lay knew when she applied for ECE position it was where she wanted to stay. When you ask her about her time here, she gets a warm smile on her face and can’t tell you enough great things about the department’s faculty and staff she has had the pleasure to work with over the years.
