On Friday, April 14, staff from student well-being presented a session at the Meeting of the Minds conference in Kansas City. Annie Birt, peer education program coordinator for student well-being, presented alongside Stephanie Murray-Miller, health educator, and Simran Bhatia, organizational health education specialist. Their session, titled “Importance of Transparency in Utilizing Health and Well-Being Services,” invited participants to consider how using transparency in messaging to build trust can improve interactions with students from historically marginalized communities.
