Researchers edit ‘Diamond and Related Materials’ special issue

Dr. Vadym Mochalin, associate professor of chemistry, and his former doctoral student, Dr. Shuohan Huang, collaborated with Dr. Majid Beidaghi, associate professor of mechanical engineering at Auburn University, to co-edit a special issue of Diamond and Related Materials titled “2D Transition Metal Carbides/Nitrides MXenes: Fundamentals and Applications.” This is the first time that the journal has put together a special issue on Mxenes, which is one of the hottest topics in materials science now.
