Register for course design workshop

The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) will facilitate a building blocks workshop creating the foundation for course design Tuesday, May 16, through Thursday, May 18. This workshop uses “backward” course design and focuses on essential student learning outcomes.
Topics for each day of the workshop include:
- Tuesday, May 16 – learning outcomes.
- Wednesday, May 17 – assessment and feedback.
- Thursday, May 18 – learning activities and alignment.
Each day’s topic will be covered in two sessions, which will be held 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. in Room 216 of the Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall.
