S&T wins 2023 state math contest

A team of S&T students won the 2023 Missouri Collegiate Mathematics Competition held on Thursday, March 30, and Friday, March 31, at Missouri State University. The team scored 97 out of 100 possible points, topping the second-place team from Washington University. More than 20 teams from Missouri colleges and universities participated in this annual mathematics competition.
The members of team included:
- Jake Mason, a senior in computer science.
- Braden Stillmaker, a sophomore in physics.
- Landon Stephen, a senior in applied mathematics.
