Nominate staff for awards by April 14

Is there an outstanding Missouri S&T staff member you would like to recognize? How about a faculty member? Or a new staff member who deserves recognition? Staff Council is now accepting nominations for Staff Excellence Awards, Outstanding Newcomer Award and Outstanding Faculty Award.
This Staff Excellence Awards have three categories:
- Bridge builder – A person that works to link two groups of individuals together for the common good.
- Student centric – A person that is focused on the student’s perspective and helping students in any way they can.
- Excellence in work – A person that always goes above and beyond for their department or the university. Has exceptional skills and knowledge in their job. Is always professional, respectful and kind.
The Outstanding Newcomer Award is awarded in recognition of a staff member who is new to campus and making an impact.
The Outstanding Faculty Award is awarded to show appreciation and recognition of a faculty member who is engaged in supporting staff across campus.
Any staff member, faculty member or student can submit nominations, except current members of the Staff Excellence Awards Committee. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, April 14.
Visit the Staff Council website for details about each award and to nominate someone. Winners will be announced during Staff Appreciation Day on Wednesday, May 24.
